    Default how to adjust content main wrapper?

    I have adjusted the mainwrapper to 950px but I still get a white space on the right hand side. I checked the CSS style information and I noticed that the section in question is the contentmainwrapper (or at least I think it is).

    In any case, I've tried a few things to fixed it but I can't find the way to make it fit the mainwrapper.

    my website is: www.amnyperfumes.com/zen-cart

    thanks a bunch!

    Did you want the page thrown to the left or centered? If centered, go around line 171 of the stylesheet that starts with #headerWrapper. Change the margin back to auto instead of 0

    Other fun things going on --- a lot of margins and paddings set to zero

    thanks for your reply. I am not looking to center the headerwrapper but more to get rid of the white space that shows on the far left hand side of my webpage.

    How do I do that?

    Please advise. thanks a lot!

    Left or right?

    If you mean right top corner and top-banner, then #bannerOne{width:950px;}. Width of your top image is also 990px so you could cut that.

    Do you use Firebug or WebDeveloper-toolkit? Those could help you very much.

    HI, I have adjusted the bannerone size to 950px but still the right side (not the left -sorry-) continues to show a white space..

    I use the firefox web developer kit and when I look a the CSS style I notice that there is a box wider than the rest and it points at:
    body #indexhomebody > #divmainwrapper > table #contentmainwrapper > tbody > tr > td\
    but I don't know how to fix it.

    also, my breadcrumb is this page: http://www.amnyperfumes.com/zen-cart...in_page=page_2

    looks longer than in this other page: http://www.amnyperfumes.com/zen-cart...index&cPath=76

    since I am new to all this, I am kind of confused and don't know how to fix it, so any help is greatly appreciated. thanks a lot!

    Did you try to cut 40px from freeshipping.png.

    Do that and #bannerOne {
    width: 950px;
    text-align:left;
    }

    It should do the trick.

    Check .centerColumn and its margins. Those are too high and that' s why breadcrumb is broken. Like dbltoe already said it, use zeros first and if needed start increasing margins and paddings cautiously.

    Hi, following your advice I fixed the breadcrumb width in all pages, but I still have the white space on the right hand side.
    Ideally I would like my webpage max width to be 950px and that the top heading and banner go all the way to the right end without the leaving any white space as it looks right now.. I've changed both bannerone, mainwrapper and headerwrapper to 950px.

    not sure what else to do now.. please advise. thanks a lot!

    don't ask me how, but in the middle of the other little changes I've been making to my website, I just noticed that apparently the page width issue has been fixed.

    in any case, thanks a again for everyone's help.

    Just a bit of clarification....

    I did not advocate the use of margin 0 or padding 0. The first should be float left IF needed and the second is like putting a white image over a white background.
