Customer Pick-Up With More than One Store?

Zen (Cart) Masters,

I'm looking for a way to have the customer select "pick-up" and choose from one of several locations. I see that the OS Commerce folks have a contribution for this:

I don't know much about OS Commerce but I know it is similar to Zen Cart. How difficult is it to modify/use an OS Commerce mod for Zen Cart? Any pointers?

Alternatively, the site could have the customer specify the location in the comments box. In that case I'd like to add a comment field that is a drop-down list. (Or have the drop-down selection that gets added to the comments field) Has anyone done this? I'm assuming I need to add a zen_draw_pull_down function but I don't know enough of PHP to figure out how to populate it.

Any suggestions, guidance, or posted code would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The easiest way would be to clone the store pickup module and change the text in its language file to reflect an alternative location.

I did that at first, but the list got very long because each location had it's own customer pick-up box, radio button, and 0.00 price. If they could all show in a drop-down list instead of radio buttons, then it would be fine.

Is there a setting in Zen Cart to show shipping options as a drop-down instead?

Okay, my current work-around is to use the "Static List" mod which at least puts all the radio buttons in the same Delivery method:

Now, if I could get the list to work as a drop-down that would be even better.
