Adding more than one image to a product?

I'm trying to follow the tutorial here: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=58

Specifically I am here:

From the Admin, you edit a product and specify an image file called:
a_bugs_life.gif
and put it in the
/images/dvd directory via the drop down.

Now you use your FTP program to upload additional images to /images/dvd

I opened my product listing, added the image, clicked the dvd option from the dropdown, and updated it. What I don't understand is where I would now FTP the additional image. Do I first need to create a subfolder under images titles dvd and put them there?

If your product's MAIN image is called:

productimage.jpg

then additional images will be:

productimage_01.jpg
productimage_02.jpg
productimage_03.jpg


And these are loaded into the SAME directory as the product's MAIN image.

Ok, I see that I had the image names incorrect then. I renamed them as per your instruction. Since I added the first picture though the product page on admin, I'm still not sure where to find in my FTP program where to load the additional image though.

If we are to take your first example of having an image in the "dvd" folder, then your would open your FTP program to have:

In the LEFT PANE - your hard drive at your home computer. Navigate to the folder containing your additional images.

In the RIGHT PANE - your remote server where your shop is hosted.

In the RIGHT PANE, navigate to:

/images/dvd/

And upload to that folder.
