I'm a newbie building my Zen-Cart on a local test server using Wampserver.
I'm running Zen cart 1.3.0.2 (to match my ISPs version). I realized after I started my version of MySQL (5.0.51b) doesn't match my ISPs (5.0.45). I installed 5.0.45, imported the database into 5.0.45 from 5.0.51b. When I try to access Zen-Cart running MySQL 5.0.45 I get the following error 'Sorry! There seems to be a problem connecting to our database.'
When I switch back to MySQL 5.0.51b everything is fine. I'm trying to make sure I replicate my ISP's config to avoid any problems.
I assume I'm missing something simple!!! Can anyone help me!!!

Ver 1.3.0.2 is not fully mysql 5.x compatible , might be one reason.

Do not worry about the ISP version of zencart - -download the latest and install manually...
