US Postal to Hawaii and International Only

As I have a daily UPS pick up, I prefer to ship to 48 states using UPS. However, I would like to offer Hawaii, Alaska and other US Territories US Postal Options. I guess other US territories would include APO addresses and Puerto Rico and such.

Is there a way I can offer these areas US Postal and keep the other 48 states on UPS?

Build a Zone for the 48 States and add to the UPS shipping module ...

Build a Zone for the rest of the US and add to the USPS shipping module ...

NOTE: be aware that UPS and USPS treats the US Islands and Territories differently ...

UPS says Guam is a country ... the USPS says, according the the US Government that since the US owns it, this is a state for the country of United States ...

If all of your US Islands and Territories can ONLY use USPS, you should consider removing the references to these as Countries to avoid the inability to quote and calculate the shipping rates ...

Example:
I come in and say I my address is from the country United States and my State is Guam ... and off I go and ship via USPS ...

Fred comes along and says his address is from the country Guam and tries to checkout ... UPS could give a quote, but USPS will fail as it does not recognize that Fred lives in the Country of Guam ... or the Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico etc. etc.
