Orange Bubble Instead of Green. Free Options Using my Zone

Hi All,
I want to use the "Free Shipping Options" mod but limited to the Cont US. I set up a zone that seems to work with discount coupons. I set Free Shipping Options to only allow free shipping in that zone and the bubble (near the sort) turns orange.

When using my zone and the bubble is orange there is no free option show in the estimator but there is a free option once you log in and have a qualifying cart.

Remove the zone restriction and everything works fine and the bubble is green.

I know this seems to be pointing to my zone but the zone seems to work fine for coupons.

Please help.

This sounds like it's working as designed.

The orange bubble when it appears to warn you as the admin that there are geographical restrictions on the shipping method.

That the free option isn't offered to a customer who is not logged in, may be because until that point, your site doesn't know where he or she is located and doesn't want to offer a shipping method that may not be available (which could get you into trouble in some jurisdictions).

Thanks Kurio that all makes sense. Now I'm only concerned about the estimator when a zip code is supplied. The free shipping option doesn't show in the estimator when a US zip code is supplied. The shipping estimator does show the free option when the customer is logged in though.

Is there any way to get the free option to show when a qualifying zip code is supplied?
