"HEADER_ALT_TEXT" and "HEADER_SALES_TEXT" in my header

Hello,

I've searched all over and tried fixing header.php but I cannot resolve this. I have the actual words "HEADER_ALT_TEXT" and "HEADER_SALES_TEXT" in the header of my site. I'm not talking about putting the actual values for these, that's well covered in the FAQS's....I mean this code appears up top.

I'll settle for just eliminating them if I have to.

I changed a file somewhere and now cannot figure out how to get anything but that code appearing. This should be a basic fix, but I've really hosed something...and I'm pulling my hair out trying find it.

Chances are that you deleted the ' ' in the file. That will give you an error that you described.

If you don't want any text to appear in these options replace the code with this:

define('HEADER_ALT_TEXT', '');

define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '');

That was the problem. Plus i had header.php in \classic, \english and \custom.

I was badly crossed up but its stright now. Thanks for the quick response.
