    Default Override problem

Back on zen-cart after a year break so need to find things again.
I have set up a custom folder and changed the template file and inserted into this custom folder. I have changed the template under tools and layout boxes have been reset.
Now when I go to open the shop index page I get a blank page although the url says it is the index.php.

Any ideas as to what is wrong please.

Thanks afa but I have already checked all these and tested everything. Even if I don't change the template_info and put that in a custom folder and then select that under tools I still get a blank index page when I refresh (yes, I have also reset the layout boxes each time).

Please note this is not a live site so I am unable to send a link at this time.

Can we assume that when you switch back to the Classic template, the problem goes away?

Yes it does. When I select my custom template under tools I get a blank page. When I select the classic template it works ok.

I have checked again and followed the instructions to set up a custom folder and edit the template_default file and put this in my new custom folder.

Thanks a million. I found the problem in the english.php document. There was an underscore ( _ ) missing.

    Thanks again.
