Default My host wants to charge me for SSL deployment

    Hi

    I need an advice please.

I have just applied for a SSL certificate from a third party for 21 day trial . They send me my certificate an I have installed it using my cPanel and change the zen config file. Naturally when you go to cart check out it goes to https with an error message.

So I have approached my host and asked to have a look as I was advised from the people who have supplied the certificate. My hosts now says they will charge me $100 'deployment' fee if I have purchased it from a third party or $50 If I purchase it from them. Is this normal. What the hell is 'deployment' fee for? . Why can't i do it using my own cPanel which there is a SSL control for uploading and generating SSL certificates.

Can you please advise if this is a general practice to charge for 'SSL' deployment once you have the certificate?

    Thanks

Nonsense. My host installed it for me, free (and the cert is bought from a 3rd party). They did install many other things for me free as well. If your host is the one that charges you for every little thing, maybe you should leave it.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
