Shipping cost issue

1.Ok, I have to ship Vehicle Hoods at a Flat Shipping Rate.


2. When I go to CHECKOUT


3. I get these 2 shipping cost.

I am using both PER ITEM and UPS.


HERE ARE MY SETTING FOR BOTH




What am I doing Wrong? I also have installed the California Tax Module usig the MySQL database for adding Taxes.

All, I want is when some purchases a hood it charges them a shipping rate of 150.00. Right now if I pick a different Item it gives them the option of 0 or 10.00 for UPS.. If they select 0 they don't get charged UPS rate.

And, all of the other products have the right weight for USPS?

Do you have any products right now with Product weight of 0 where 0 weight means Free Shipping?

1. Yes 150 to the weight of the hoods.
2. No, I only use weight for the hoods.
3. Free Shipping no I don't the weight is blank no weight..

Do you ship anything besides Hoods?

If so, what shipping method do you want all other products that are not the Hood to use?

Yes on selling 1 and 2 hoods. total would be 300 for shipping.

Yes I sell other stuff and been using the UPS module. I buy from a B2B company and I usually charge a little higher on shipping just to compensate for what I am being charged. What i have done is under handling fees, I have put in 2.50.

For example:
when I purchase something from my B2B shop
I get charged 24.00 + 9.65 shipping
With my UPS Module set it normally comes close like a couple of cents under or over. Sometimes its 8.75 and sometimes its 10.05

Okay so your other products do have weight then so that UPS can work right for an approximately correct amount ...

So, what needs to happen is manage the shipping when the Hood(s) are in the cart ...

Now ...

I buy 3 regular products and get some charge from UPS ...

I buy the Hood and get the $150 per hood charge with the Per Unit perweightunit ...

What you need is something to distinguish these separately ...

But, first, what happens when both are in the cart? As in, what do you "want" to happen?

Is there anything else about the Hood(s) that distinguishes them from all other products?

Things like products_model? All in the same master_categories_id? Anything that could be "tested" for to know they are in the cart?
