Can anyone tell me if there is a max number of products that can be added to your e-store?
Twice now I have reached a certain number and I start having the same screwey problem.

Do the Impossible!!
Theoretically, there is a maximum - DrByte mentioned it recently - but you need to use exponential notation to display it (well, almost :)
Something like billions or trillions.
In practice, the only maximum is the load your server can handle.
Ok Thanks,
It has to be my server then

73 products is not even the start of allot of products. I know I am not the biggest but I run almost 4,000 SKU's on one site.
However the redirection of your stores home page from www. normancom.com to http://www.normancom.com/public_html/nc/ takes forever for me. I don't know if you set it up that way on purpose, but you might want to talk to your host about that.

Hey thanks, I am in the process of changing my url this week.
I just reinstalled and I have added the 73 products that were not in my cataloge before. the problem was each time that I reached in the 800 some products, that is when It would go screwey.
I am changing this week and adding to my security then I will reload my old products and hopefully I will not have that problem again
Thanks again

Are you sure you are not reaching some database size limit imposed by your host?
Our largest site has now over 4,000 SKUs and growing. I have heard of sites with over 70,000 products. I am working on another project that will have 53,000.
