How To Change "Required Information" Fields In Create Account Screen

Hi all,

I am just about ready to go live with my website (actually, it is ready to go live apart from the topic of this post, I just haven't begun advertising) but I would like to change the need for certain fields in the CREATE ACCOUNT screen.

My website is www.shirt10tees.com and I would like to be able to remove the 'Information Required' from several of the fields in the create account screen ( here )

I have tried searching these forums, but came up empty handed.

Go to admin > configuration > customer details.

To get rid of the asterisk (*) go to includes/languages/english.php and save to includes/languages/YOUR_TEMPLATE/english.php

Try: admin > configuration > Minimum Values.
if you want to remove the fields on tpl, go to /includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_create_account_default.php, searche the code to remove the fields...
