    Default Subcategory grid

    How do I setup my subcategories in a grid formation, rather than the one single column? Right now they look like this:

    1
    2
    3
    4
    5

    I want to be able to have it look like this:

    1 2 3 4
    5 6 7 8

    TIA!

    I have this set at "3", yet I still have 7 categories listed in one column.

    Let me guess - you have a widescreen monitor. The site width forces horizontal scrolling on any ordinary monitor, which is a very bad idea unless you expect all of your customers to have the same monitor you have.

    You also appear to have a lot of huge images (at least one thumbnail at 125k). Something about your site is making it take forever to load - literally. I gave up after 5 minutes or so.

    I'm actually working on a standard Dell 17" flat-screen. I'll work on changing the size of the thumbnails and width of the site, but what can I do about the category listings being all in one column?

    I'm not sure if it was a passing quirk of connections, or if resizing the images made that much difference, but it works fine now.
    I did notice that the width was 1245px which would fit on possibly a majority of screens now, but better to accommodate most screens and fit in 1024px. You can set a max-width: 1245px; and a flexible width: 100%; so the site will accommodate most everyone comfortably.

    At any rate, the problem is that the float that is supposed to apply to the categories has been eliminated. Add this to your stylesheet:

    .categoryListBoxContents {float: left;}
