Error I'm getting on step 2 (selecting a payment type) when checking out.

Fatal error: Call to a member function javascript_validation() on a non-object in includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_checkout_payment_default.php on line 15

Zen Cart 1.3.7.1
Database Patch Level: 1.3.7
Payment modules: Credit Card, cod, and PayPal Express.

I have compared the payment modules and tpl_checkout_payment_default.php files against fresh files and all match up.
Even having no payment modules installed, will still get this error.

This is interesting. I've seen this before. More information is needed of course.

Have you assigned any of the payment methods as 'default'?

And, has anything changed with your server?

Waiting to hear back from host.

Use Credit Card, Express PayPal and Check/Money Order modules.
I have turned off each one 1 by 1 , switched the order, and even had all payment modules turned off.
Still get the error.

I'm not very good with solving these problems without physically checking files myself. I would check the file where these functions are called and make sure that it's intact. And, then do a comparison of all the files in the include directory. Just to rule out any other conflicts.

Have you added any mods or made any changes to products, recently. Sometimes the product type. will cause issues. If I remember correctly.

1. When did this problem "start"? How does that compare with other events related to your site or your hosting company?

2. What addons do you have installed? This is *always* important information whenever you are having a problem on your site.

3. It seems you've likely got broken code in one or more of these files:

/includes/modules/checkout_process.php
/includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/checkout_process.php

My .
There are a lot of header_php.php files and I had one in the wrong folder from the last addon I installed.
What threw me off is I create a check list when I install addons that show the path, file size and that I double check that its correct.
I only upload one file a time and check it off the list.
My list showed everything correct but some how I uploaded a file to the wrong folder.
Thanks to DrByte, I got to checking the header_php.php files and find my error.
