Protx and PEAR:Crypt_Blowfish

Hi ive just installed the protx module and have my merchant account set up. However i get a warning that i dont have PEAR:Crypt_Blowfish. ive googled tis and have downloaded a file and tried to install it through install dql but that didnt work. I have no idea what PEAR:Crypt_Blowfish does and no idea how to install it. Any help is greatly appreciated

It is an open source encrytion package. If your web hosting control panel doesn't have an obvious method for installing PEAR packages, I'd ask your webhost to install it on your server.

Hi Kuroi

ive spoken to my host (1&1) and they wont help, they just say i must do it myslef following any instructions i have, but i dont have any. Doing it through zen cart wont work, and ive uploaded it through my ftp to my root directory but its making no difference, im still getting warnings regarding protx. Anyone know any work arounds or other rograms i may be able to use to overcome this?

found an old thread where conor explained how to install it. He also explains that i will still gett he warnings but encryption us being used

Make sure you have the latest version of the module as it has full instructions in its docs on the various things you can do to get encryption working or simply disable its use. All the info's in the FAQs.
