Hi there.
Can anyone tell me how to go about changing the field size of the sideboxes/music_genres. I want to incrrease this as the names in the dropdown list keep getting cut off.

You will have to alter the database field for this by editing the record field size. Most have access to phpmyadmin for this type of alteration....BACKUP BACKUP first before doing anything to your DB
