Zone Rates Problem with weight lbs to kgs

Hoping someone can help with this problem.

I have changed the language files so that lbs are substituted for kgs. One item weighing 300 grams @ $6.00 shows as this in the shopping cart:

Total Items: 1 Weight: 0.3kgs Amount: $6.00

No issue there. Tare is 0.30 kg.

However now I have installed zone rates I get this result when I click on the estimate shipping button:

Shipping quotes are based on the address information you selected:
New Zealand
Available Shipping Methods Rates
Store Pickup (Walk In) $0.00
Zone Rates (Shipping to NZ (1 x 3.30kgs/gram(s))) $4.00

The logic is working but how do I get it to display the correct weight in the zone rates line.

The rates I have entered in the zone rates module are:

Zone 2 Countries
NZ

Zone 2 Shipping Table
015:3.50,030:6.00,50:7.5,25:12.5

Zone 2 Handling Fee
0.50

Any ideas how to fix this please? Has anyone else had this problem?

PS You might be wondering why I didn't just enter 1.5:3.50,3:6.00,5:7.5,25:12.5

But when I did this it calculates the rate incorrectly and returns $8.00.

Hi I am trying to change lbs to kgs in zone rates, can you please tell me where you went, to change yours.

My Zone Rates are displaying fine, but if the total order is of 100grams, and I see the Shipping Estimate, it says

"Zone Rates (Shipping to IN (3 x 36.67lb(s)))"

How do I change/remove the 3 x 36.67 lb(s) part? All over the site the unit is in grams though.
