Default formal request for a general target date of 1.3.9

    Hello,
I know you said 1.3.9 was the last of the 1.3 series,
we have a few people that want us to upgrade them from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8 and we dont want to do that just to have 1.3.9 come out.

Is there a best guess on how long till 1.3.9 so we can determine if we need to do the upgrade now or wait till it comes out

If I remember correctly, 1.3.9 was scheduled to be released sometime 'late 2008'.

    Hmm.. not enough donations? Ha

Um, no, there was not going to be a v1.3.9 - it was going to go straight to v1.4. With the announcement of v2.0, the devs said there would be a "rollup" v1.3.9, no date mentioned yet.

I'm wondering about 1.3.9 as well. We just updated our site with 1.3.8. Is it even going to to be worth upgrading to 1.3.9? What would be the benefit?

We might just rather wait until v2.0. But if there's a good reason for upgrading to 1.3.9 and there's going to be a substantial amount of time between 1.3.9 and v2, then maybe we would want 1.3.9, right?

im not sure what is the reason for 1.39.. could it be to make the transition to 2.0 much easier ???

i know there has been few bugs in 1.38 that has been fixed in 2.0 but not made available as patch for 1.38..

personally , i can't wait for version 2.0 i really want to get to know this one better then i did with 1.38 specially the template system

It'll be out when it's ready. If that's before the beta, great. If not, so sorry.
