Is there a price by attribute tutorial?

I need to do a cart with pricing by attribute, attribute being weight, the weight being static on each product. This is for Gold Jewelry priced by the gram, can anyone point me at a tutorial for something like this?

thanks for the tutorial, but what i am trying to do is say, make an option value for say 11 grams to 100grams, and making it so that i can enter 1 price value to update all products in that weight catagory

I am not good at all at mass updating, and I'm not sure you are using "attributes" as ZenCart does. Hopefully Linda will jump in and provide info, she's a whiz at it.
