Been playing with this. Got as far as triple spacing the brand names.

Even tried a contribution that promised one file would do it all. Nope.

Well, I was comparing the best sellers sidebox pages in the MY_TEMPLATE directory to the closest manufacturers.php page respectively and making the changes there. I think I am way off.

Which manufacturers sidebox are you trying to modify?

includes/modules/sideboxes/manufacturer.php

The actual part of the sidebox that needs to be modified is:

includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_manufacturers_select.php

But that creates a dropdown list of manufacturers.

Since you want a scrollling sidebox, You'll probably have better luck using the sidebox for list manufacturers logos Since this will scroll the logo as well as the name.

Just checked the site you referenced in FF and the scrolling works just fine.

Open includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/sideboxes/

select the sidebox you wish to modify

find the following line of code:

$content .= '<div class="scroller_container"><div class="jscroller2_up jscroller2_speed-20 jscroller2_mousemove">' . $fp .'</div></div>';

change the highlighted portion to one of the following (depending on the direction you want to scroll)

jscroller2_left
jscroller2_right
