Add to cart displaying blank page?

When you go to any item and click add to cart it just displays a blank page. I am using the latest version of ZenCart and tried replacing index.php in the main directory with the original one... didn't work. I don't know where to start with this.

Any help is appreciated.

The products do get added to the shopping cart, despite the dead page ...

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template? Does it start working correctly?

If so, the problem is in your template files ...

After simply replacing index.php it began to work.
