Default What am I doing wrong with sub dirs in small, medium, large images directorys

    Am I doing something wrong?????

I have a number of suppliers images so I want to keep them in seperate directorys.

    So in images/
    the directorys are:
    supplier1/
    supplier2/
    etc......

    then in the sized directorys
    images/small/supplier1/
    images/small/supplier2/

    images/medium/supplier1/
    images/medium/supplier2/
    etc.....

but the only images recognised are in:
    images/supplier1/*
    images/supplier2/*

    what am I doing wrong?

The data was uploaded with easypopulate with the image column data set as "supplier1/imagename.jpg"

have I made a mistake in some other config?????

I do not separate my images my manufacturer, I just make sure the image names are different. But, from what you posted, I did not see your custom-template file. My image files look like this: store/images/large/CUSTOM_TEMPLATE/

    then the image name follows.

I think that this would work: store/images/large/CUSTOM_TEMPLATE/supplier1/

    followed by the image name.

give it a try and let us know if it works. But, you definitely need to put in your custom template, so that when you upgrade your images will not be lost.

    Did you follow this tutorial?
    https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=58

Be sure to add the trailing _MED _LRG

I use just the image name for my small images and also in EP for that's what will be used the most.

Medium images should be something like this.. images/medium/supplier2/someimage_MED.jpg

large images should be something like this.. images/large/supplier2/someimage_LRG.jpg

Sorry sorted it out, I assumed the _SML _MED _LRG were not required as the files were in the small medium large directorys.

It just seemed that would be the logical way to do it, but now I think about it I suppose requiring the "_size" is logical as it prevents data loss if someone moves all files into one directory, does a search and see multiple files with the same name, etc.....

    (I SHOULD HAVE RTFD PROPERLY)

What do you mean by requiring CUSTOM_TEMPLATE??

I was thinking of having the images directory as a symbolic link to another directory so the rest of my site could share images, how does CUSTOM_TEMPLATE work?
