Product deleting itself from catalog after we alter anyhthing to it.

We are using Zen Cart 1.3.8a
We have no addons installed.
We have modified the site allitle, colour, layout (closed some boxes).
The site has been working fine, till last week when we added in some new products. When we modify something on the product, eg; price, discribtion or quantity. Updates fine, but when we go back it disappears. Sometimes even just going into the catalogue not changing anything and then go back to check and it deletes one or two products. We have linked any of the products. We are at a lose. Do not know what to do???
No error codes comes up so cannot give that.

In general computers/servers are not intellegient nor can make decisions and delete or add/change anything that the code does not instruct.

Do you have your stock set to drop an item when the stock is "0"?

Not sure, How can I check? what happans is all the imformation we have put stock number,picture , discribation just dissappears.
