    Default Order History Not appearing When an Order Is Placed

    Hey everyone,
    I tried searching for this topic but had no luck, so I apologize if it was already answered.

    When a customer places an order, it is processed correctly and payment is received right away.
    However, their order history is not recorded. Which in turn causes us to have to contact the customer directly and ask what items they ordered.
    I have tried trouble shooting and cannot seem to figure out how to fix this problem.

    If anyone has any ideas, It would be greatly appreciated.

    +Using Zen Cart 1.3.8a
    +have not upgraded
    +no addons
    +not sure if it could be hosting, but we use godaddy


    The problem started shortly after we changed layouts, although it was working for a bit right after. Zen cart just randomly decided to stop recording the orders without warning, so it's hard to pinpoint exactly when or why.

    Also, as of now, we are only accepting paypal.

    help question Re: Order History Not appearing When an Order Is Placed

    My zencart just began doing this yesterday, after over two years of flawless function.

    It records the 'customers' and I receive a paypal notice of payment but there is NO record in my database or an order, I receive no email notice of an order, and one customer who replied to my query said she 'didn't think' she received an email confirmation of her order either.

    v 1.3.8
    host: a small orange

    No, I have not installed an add-odd or modification for quite some time and the cart was working fine.

    if your host isn't GoDaddy, is there another solution???

    At the very least, if there is another, longer, more detailed thread about this somewhere that I haven't located despite my frantic searching, could someone direct me to it so I can resolve this issue?

    Has your host changed anything? Have you double checked your PayPal Account settings to make sure the return URL is correct and turned on?
    Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
