ok problem solved!! all i did was uninstalled and reinstall. note to self.. begin with the basic!! can you test it again when you get a chance. thanks again.

i did a little more testing and found that if zone 3 is not filled out or set to only 10000:00 it wont calculate(at least not for me). zone 3 would have to match zone 2.

i tried to offset zone 2 and 3.
eg:
Zone 1 Countries
US

Zone 1 Shipping Table
1:5.00,2:10.00,3:15.00,4:20.00,5:25.00,10000:00

Zone 2 Countries
CA

Zone 2 Shipping Table
.4:5.00,1:9.00,2:15.00,3:18.00,4:23.00,5:28.00,10000:00

Zone 3 Countries


Zone 3 Shipping Table
.4:5.00,1:7.00,2:15.00,3:18.00,4:23.00,5:28.00,10000:00

notice how 2 is different from 3. originaly zone 2 was set 1:7.00 then i changed it to 1:9.00. by doing this when i checked out it was still calculating zone 3 or the original setting. when i matched the to zones it checked out perfectly. hope this helps anybody. thanks again linda for the support.

From my quick scan of the preceding posts, I'm not sure what you did or if you have actually completely fixed the problem for Zones.
If you found out how to make FEC select a default shipping method then please post at this thread. I'd like to get this fixed.

Just to be consistent with the correct code, set these to:


IF you want free on the last one, set it as:
10000:00

Otherwise you get that the rate cannot be computed ...
