Can I add images to my EZ Pages

I've created some EZpages and use DW for my HTML editor. I'm cutting and pasting the HTML in the HTML area of the ezpage and everything looks fine except my images don't show up. The path to my images is \zencart\includes\templates\custom\images\image.jpg but it cant find it. I'm not sure what path its looking for.

im not exactly sure on this . but i know all ezpages are stored in DB , i think images also stores in db..

try to add the image to your page using editor in ezpages ( not linking to any image ) and see if that works for you .

looks like I would still need to know the path. It won't let me browse to it

put your images in Images folder under your root ..

zencart/Images/ image.jpg.

image folder in template are to hold images that style your overall templates.


also , go to Define pages editor , set the Text Editor to HtmlArea .

then go back to your EZ pages, now you should have access to image browser .

Still wants me to define the path. I have a preview button but no browse. I tried the path \zencart\images\image.jpg but that doesnt work either.

you should use the absolute path ..

http://www.yourdomain.com/zencart/images/image.jpg

that should allow you to preview the image .. before inserting into your page ..

you may also want to look at other Text Editors in free add on ,, FCKeditor , Tiny MCE ,, i believe both allows you to brows images , im not to sure , but no matter what , they much much better then HTMLarea ..

also , internet paths use forward slash " / " and not back slash " \ "
