Simple change in Zonetable & it stops working?

Hi guys - Newbie here,
I am really stuck and need to fix a big problem on my Zen Cart 1.3.8 store.

I have had the Zonetable Shipping working just fine - until I made this one simple change - now it's stopped calculating properly.
We sell Gift Baskets. And I have Zone 1 set up with a Table Method of "Price":

CURRENT Zone 1 Shipping Table
50:14.75,75:16.75,100:19.75,150:22.75

CHANGE with stops it working Zone 1 Shipping Table
40:12.75,50:14.75,60:15.75,75:16.75,100:19.75,150:22.75

All I'm trying to do is to add 2 additional prices to Zone 1:
$40.00 Gift Baskets - $12.75 Shipping Charge
$60.00 Gift Baskets - $15.75 Shipping Charge

Every time I add these 2 new prices - shipping is miscalculated.
I cannot for the life of me - figure out why!!

I have typed them into the ZoneTable module and I have typed them into a Text Editor and pasted them in. Augh!

There's a remote possibility that the module may have some corrupted PHP code. It was "clean" php originally (allowing you to upload data), but somehow got corrupted recently (and now is not writing properly to the dbase.

This MIGHT be a solution - but wait to see if others post on your problem before rushing off...

1. Make a TXT file containing all of your settings for this shipping option, so your TXT file will contain lines such as:

Zone 1 Shipping Table
50:14.75,75:16.75,100:19.75,150:22.75

... The reason for this is that I'm going to advise you to...

2. REMOVE the module, FTP a fresh copy of the php files to OVERWRITE the existing ones, and then REINSTALL the module - and doing this will erase your current settings.

3. Put back the settings as per your TXT file "backup".

Thanks for the reply - I will hold off a little while to see if anyone else has any ideas...otherwise I'll have to try your suggestion because I have a live site that's not calculating shipping correctly. Thanks again!

You could always grab a download of the zonetables module in the free add-ons >>> shipping modules (in my opinion better that the standard zones module) and install it...

Just transpose your settings into that mod, and when ready, deactivate current zones mod and activate zonetables mod.

Ah... I should open my eyes... looks like you're using it. I initially thought you were just using tables mod

Then... perhaps do as I initially suggested - reload the files after getting data grabs of the settings.

(Put your store in maintenance mode while you do this).

Be aware that the Zone Rates is not charging based on the Product Price individually using the settings:

40:12.75,50:14.75,60:15.75,75:16.75,100:19.75,150:22.75

It is charging based on the Order Total ...

So if I order 3 $20.00 products I am being charged the 60 setting for $15.75 ... if I order 5 $20.00 products then I am being charged the 100 setting for $19.75 ...

And if my order is over $150.00 I am getting Free Shipping as you have no definitions for over 150 ...

We sell Gift Baskets that are a certain price:
$40 Gift Basket
$50 Gift Basket
$60 Gift Basket
$75 Gift Basket
$100 Gift Basket
$150 Gift Basket

And we have Zones Set up and we have what we want to charge each zone for each price Gift Basket.

If I haven't set these rates up correctly, could you please explain how I would set them up?

For Zone 1 here are our Gift Baskets and what we need to charge for Shipping:

$40 Gift Basket $12.75
$50 Gift Basket $14.75
$60 Gift Basket $15.75
$75 Gift Basket $16.75
$100 Gift Basket $19.75
$150 Gift Basket $22.75

If you were able to show me how to do this properly I'm sure I could figure out the rest of my Zones.

... so if I am in zone 1, and place an order for:

2 X $40 Gift Basket, and
1 X $150 Gift Basket

Will the shipping then be:

2 X $12.75 = $25.50 and
1 X $22.75 = $22.75, equals total shipping $48.25 ---> ($25.50 + $22.75)
