red flag Newsletter & Time Question

Ok I have two questions I need answers to ASAP lol

    1) Can someone explain why customers aren't getting the newsletter when it shows successful? In the store it goes out fine but nobody (myself included) gets it. I've tried changing the transport method from PHP to sendmail and sendmail-f and still nothing. This is happening in two stores, but in another store I use PHP and it works just fine. Both stores have gmail addresses for their admin emails if this makes a difference.

    2) My personal store is set up on Mountain time for some reason but I'm on Pacific time, is there a way to change that to another time zone and if so .... where?

Check settings between the one tht works & others, using gmail you should have SMTP settings set

There is no time setting within ZenCart, the time is picked from the server...I believe that there is a module for time offset in the downloads section

Ok second question solved. For the first on the store that I have no problem at, I don't use gmail for email, I use my domain email. The stores that are having the problems are using gmail addresses for their email (they aren't my stores, just ones I help with). So do free gmail addresses not work with Zen?

If you're telling your email server to impersonate your gmail account, then no, you can't send as if you were sending from gmail, because you are actually behaving just like an email spammer would.

If you set your store to send "through" the gmail servers by actually logging in to their servers in order to send the emails, then you are more likely to see emails actually get delivered.
