How do I add handling fee to Flat Rate?

Hi Folks

How can I add handling fee to flat rate and have the handling fee show up on the checkout pages, not lumped in together with the shipping fee.

If can use the table rate, put one rate for up to 1000 items then add the handling fee, it still does not breakdown on the checkout pages the shipping fee and the handling fee.

So I guess I need a breakdown of shipping fees at checkout.

Any thoughts?

The Shipping Costs are built as a total ...

You would have to do quite a bit of customization to break them apart ...

Normally it displays as:
Flat Rate (Best Way)

You could change the text in the language file to read
Shipping (Plus Handling)
Flat Rate (Plus $4.95 Handling)
