    Default Hide Column Left switch does not work

    In the curernt 1.3.5 version just downloaded, hide column left or right does not do what they say, nothing is hidden. These are found on configuration -> customer details screen. It doesn't seem to matter what the shop and approval status settings are, 1, 2, whatever, it is not hidden.

    Confirmed by at least one other user in a separate thread not in the bug reports section.

    I have to admit I thought the same - but I just tried on the same site and it appears that i have done something in the template that gives that impression...

    The Hiding of Top, Left, Right and Footer is for when displaying the customers_authorization page ...

    If you set to 1 the setting:
    Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending
    Customer must be Authorized to shop
    0= Not required
    1= Must be Authorized to Browse
    2= May browse but no prices unless Authorized
    3= Customer May Browse and May see Prices but Must be Authorized to Buy
    You will see this on login ...

    If you do not want customers coming to the site to see the site prior to login ... also set the setting for:
    Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices
    Customer must be approved to shop
    0= Not required
    1= Must login to browse
    2= May browse but no prices unless logged in
    3= Showroom Only
    Note: changing settings when a customer is logged in will not reflect correctly

    Note: if you change settings and have a customer set to not approved, approve and unapprove to see the results as this has different settings for the customer based on configurations before an account is "created" ...

    So, after creation, if you change settings you need to update the customer account by toggling between Not approved, Approved, Not approved to see these actions correctly ...
