Sending Subscription Manager emails: Notice: FAILED to send Email to all recipients

Hi Guys

Just got an issue, regarding sending Emails from within the Admin side of Zen Cart. Having issues trying to send emails to indervidual customers from (Tools -> Send EMail) Can send emails fine using the other options i.e Newsletter Groups, but when trying to send to any indervidual, get the response of "Notice: FAILED to send Email to all recipients: [email protected] (0)" (I have changed [email protected] from an actual address for privacy purposes).

Please note all other Email functions are working fine.

Zen Cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8

Any thoughts?

Hard to say without further information. Post your Zen cart email configurations and some info on your server - ie windows / linux shared or dedicated host etc.

Emails must send from known domain? Yes (also tried No)

Yes it is on a Lxadmin Host-In-A-Box Virtual Server (VPS/VDS)
(But also tried on a different server with no luck)

Well, since all the email routines in Zen Cart share a common code base, if only one of your pages is not working right, then either you've got something broken in custom coding or you've got a bad email address which is being rejected.

If you must attempt to diagnose email problems in your admin, then create a new file at /admin/includes/extra_datafiles/email_debug_on.php and put the following code in it:

<?php define('EMAIL_SYSTEM_DEBUG', 5);

Then try sending emails from your admin again. This should show all kinds of debug information on-screen when the email is sent. Note that it will interfere with other operations, so make sure you delete that file again when you've got your debug data.
Hopefully it will tell you more about the responses received from your mailserver.
If not, then you'll have to ask your webserver administrator why those emails are being rejected when attempting to send them.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the dubugging info, after looking into it more, I have disovered this is a bug with the use of the Subscription Manager addon, as I have done some major testing with another site that uses the same module, it appears to send ok to the ones that are only subscribed to a newsletter. I still have not been able to fix this. Any ideas??

I also have the Subscription Manager add on and i have the same problem. Was a resolution found?
