Include Special Instructions in Success Email

Am I missing something? I would expect that Special Instructions would be included with the confirmation Success, email sent to a customer, but it is not included.

Can someone give me a hint, file to be modified and location, OR admin configuration, that can be changed so that the confirmation email does include an special instructions that a customer entered?

Out-of-the-box, with no addons or customizations, Zen Cart does automatically include the comments/instructions added by the customer during the checkout-shipping/checkout-payment pages in the email sent upon successful checkout.

If you've added addons or made customizations which alter the normal checkout process, then perhaps one or more of those addons/customizations have changed/broken that default functionality.
