index.php in root not loading

I've searched the forum and still cant find out why my index is not loading...

I Just installed zencart to a folder and then moved to the root directory. Then I edited my configure files accordingly, but Now when I go to my domain: www.lcocycling.com, the store won't load unless I add the 'index.php' to the url.

i feel like an idiot -I know this has to be a simple fix. I have double checked my configure files just to make sure, and everything looks ok to me. (of course i've been up all night, so i'm a little delirious right now).

this may just be a question for my host company...
