Add Customer from Admin - error

Hello,

I've installed and am testing this add in.

Upon import of a 3 line .csv file, I encounter the following error at the top of the add-in

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /<site folders>/admin/add_customers_backend.php on line 377

line 377 in the file refers to gender although that is not a required field according to documentation. I nevertheless added gender, still got the error,.

3 customers were added successfully, but never got a welcome email.

I've been searching for the answer to this problem for a few months now and it has been driving me crazy. I have read the other fourum topics on this matter and it still appears to be a big issue. I hate having any little problem with code especially when it concerns customers. That said this has to be one of the godsent codes for my site as I sometimes have a stall where items are sold off-line or over the telephone.
