Default Configuration issue with zone rates

    Hi Zenners

I use ‘Zone Rates’ shipping module and it is configured as below:

    Calculation Method: Weight
    Tax Class: None
    Zone 1 Shipping Table: 1:20.00,2:18.00,5:15.00,3000:0.00

The weight of the product is 0.2kg.
    Tare weight: Skipped

Maximum Package Weight in ‘Shipping / Packaging’ is set to: 0.2kg. This is the maximum package weight and it will contain 1 unit of product. Customer buys 15 units and in the ‘Shipping Method’ page I see 15 x 0.20kg = Euro300. The total weight of the product is 3kg and so shouldn’t the shipping charge be 15 Euros?

Am I doing something wrong? Or ‘Maximum Package Weight’ should be set to a higher value other than 0.2, i.e. 30 or 50? If I, however, change this to a higher value and the customer buys 3 units of a product all in separate boxes, it shows up as 1 x 0.6 not as 3 x 0.6. This is a bit confusing. I just want the shipping charges calculated according to total weight of the products shipped.

    Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Configuration issue with zone rates

Just another thing I remembered. Let's say I have 3 different boxes all with different weight. If I am not mistaken, we can only set a single tare weight in ZC. If the goods are shipped with all these different weighted boxes how can I configure the ZC so they are all taken into account.

    Many thanks,
