Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /public_html/store/images/

ive just gone to my store and all the product images have gone there just a red x there now
when i login to my admin panel and go to add new product it says at the top in a red box it says

Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /home/angel/public_html/store/images/

then when you go to add new product just above whjere it says
product status it says
Fatal error: Call to a member function read() on a non-object in /home/angel/public_html/store/admin/includes/modules/product/collect_info.php on line 441

what does this mean and can it be fixed thankyou for any help

Did you delete your images folder or set the permissions too low to allow access?

when i gointo my ftp folder and locate the folder it says it cant find it is there i was wondering if it is something to do with the css sheet that maybe there is a command or something missing
that helps the images show up

... nothing to do with CSS...

... either there IS an "images" folder in your ZC installation directory... or there ISN'T.

What were you doing with the site just prior to the folder being reported "missing"?

i was changing the color of the front page and when i tested it it was all there ok

gone to the site tonight and all the images gone

but in my ftp folder there is a folder that says images and all the ones that were uploaded are still there where they always been

On your local machine (home computer), navigate your FTP program to the folder where you unzipped the ZC software.

Then, in the other FTP pane (remote server) navigate to the installation level where you put the ZC software.

On BOTH panes, you should now see:

admin
cache
download
editors
email
extras
images
includes
media
pub

(no need to have docs or zc_install on the remote server).

Is there an images folder showing? Are its CHMOD permissions set to (at least) 755 ?

i have got it sorted now thankyou for your help the images folder was not there dont no how it just went but thankyou for your help truley appreciated
