So far as I know, there isn't a mod for that yet.
I have to say that I don't know why you'd want to make customers jump through another hoop before they can buy from you, especially if they're trying to check out.

I would agree with shevesh...
Why add more layers (ed: obstacles) to your customer's desire to buy your goods?
I don't know of any webshop that asks me to validate via e-mail before I purchase...
... I want the goods. I want them quick. My credit card is surely sufficient "validation"?

I for one wouldn't mind this as I have tons of ghost orders- many derive directly from the live shops- but it's really annoying and time consuming...

oh you know- the [email protected] for the email, and 1234 anywhere for hte address and of course are mailing a money order. My other site got DOZENS A day after we submitted it to live shops so we will never do that again
I call them ghosts because I know people are creating them but with no contact info it might as well be ghosts.

One reason I wouldn't accept anything but credit cards or PayPal for payment.
