Hidden restricted products

Hello,

I'd like some items to be found only by taping the complete title in the search box,..., or something similar...
I did create a categorie that I did "disable" in which I did put some products that are "enable" ...in this way people who do not know about this items will not found them by searching through the categories since this categorie do not appear but if by any chance they tape part of the title of the item in the search box, they will foud it...
help please ?!

Do all of these Products that should not be found have the same master_categories_id ... if so, you could customize the code to exclude those products from the search based on the master_categories_id ...

Hi, I would also like to know how to exclude a master category from the search results.

I have an antique glass website, and I move products into a "SOLD" section once they have sold, so they can still be used for reference. I like people to be able to view them by browsing to the category, but it would be helpful if the sold items did not show up in search results.

A simple bit of code excluding the products in the SOLD section would work perfectly.

You would need to customize the file:
/includes/index_filters/default_filter.php

and customize the SELECT statements to exclude the Products with that master_categories_id ...

Or, you can exclude the Products with products_quantity < 1 ...
