    Default snap-affiliates?

Has anyone used the 'snap-affiliates' download from
    filterswept.com /snap-affiliates/?

Comments, feedback would be helpful. My client is hot to
get an affiliates program started. Our web hosting service has
not been responsive to Jrox JAM .

    Thanks.

    Hi!

I'm the author of Snap Affiliates. If you have any specific questions about the software, I'd be happy to answer them.

I've installed this program. Out of the box, it seems to be working as promised. Need to have some knowledge of html & php to get this working properly.

    Some pointers:
    - need to update terms/policy page for referral
    - need to add language files
    - once you upload, look for the referral page at: http://yourwebsite.com/referrer_signup
    - using EZ pages, create a link to that page.

Good luck everyone!! Thanks to the author for the program. I've been looking for a free affiliate program for a very long time!!

Did you fully integrate this mod into your website? Your last post on this topic was some time ago and the thread seems dead now.

Which version of the mod are you using?

Can you check your cache folder and bring up the .log file that's related? To get this, try to visit one of the links and note the exact time you get the white screen. Then go into your FTP account and retrieve that message. Paste the message back here.

    Thanks for developing this MOD!

I am planning on installing this for a store and wondered if the Affiliate places the order in their own account, will they get a commission on that order ... or do they have to click through on their own aff. link?

For example, we have sales reps in the field who can take an order in person, but would like to enter the order in over the website - obviously with a SHIP TO address of their client. We'd like them to be able to "be in control" of the order and essentially their own commission.

Also, I am assuming that there is now a way that deleted or cancelled orders are not accumulation commissions.

And finally, it's not imperative, but if it is not already integrated, you may want to add it... being able to assign an existing order to an affiliate.

    Thanks again :)
    Chrissy
