I'm trying to get this working on a 139d cart also.

When I'm logged in and go to submit a url for approval I'm getting this error

1054 Unknown column 'REFERRER_DEFAULT_COMMISSION' in 'field list'
    in:
    [insert into zen_referrers (referrer_customers_id, referrer_key, referrer_homepage, referrer_approved, referrer_banned, referrer_commission) values(2,"REFERRER_KEY_PREFIX21278635837","http://mytestsite.com", 0, 0, REFERRER_DEFAULT_COMMISSION)]

    not going very well.

Yes I did run the sql file.

I just reinstalled the cart to start fresh again.

Did you merge the files or upload the mod as it is? I tried both ways. Maybe I made a mistake when merging.

    You mentioned this

    2- The files includes/languages/english/referrer_main.php
    includes/languages/english/referrer_main.php
includes/languages/english/referrer_main.php needed to be in my overides folder to get rid of the NAVBAR_TITLE issue.
I don't find this file includes/languages/english/referrer_main.php in the includes folder

    I'm using this mod

    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1285

Am I using the same mod/version as everyone else?

I am merging the files again to try and get it right.

When it comes to this file

includes/classes/order.php there is this bit - $zco_notifier. I notice that the 139d file is not using this at all and has replaced $zco_notifier with $this instead. Should the referrer code sections that I merge which use $zco_notifier be replaced with $this

it shouldn't have been three of the same file... that's another copy and paste I forgot to change.

The files that need to be in your override folder (includes/languages/english/YOURTEMPLATE/) to get rid of the NAVBAR_TITLE issue were:

    includes/languages/english/referrer_main.php
    includes/languages/english/referrer_tools.php
    includes/languages/english/referrer_signup.php

In the Snap Affilaite release I used (1.02) they were in the includes/languages/english folder.

    Thanks

I just went and found version 1.0..2

I found version 1.0.1 last night and have not had any luck getting email notifications sent out. Maybe with 1.0.2 it will start happening.

Thanks much for the very helpful info you have posted!

I got the snap affiliates 1.0.2 version installed on zen cart 139d.

When I sign up as a new customer a copy of the customers welcome message is sent to admin.

After creating the new account I submit my url to the referral program. The admin email notification sent says

Mail failure - no recipient addresses

A message that you sent contained no recipient addresses, and therefore no delivery could be attempted.

I can see the message that someone has signed up to the referral program with the link to review their application.

My email transport method is set to php. I've never seen this mail failure message happen before. How can I correct this?

Also when an affiliate has made some sales and is due to be payed, there is the pay button. When clicking the pay button it changes the info to show the affiliate has been payed.

Is the admin supposed to actually pay the affiliate manually? I was wondering how that pay button was going to work and if it would initiate an automatic payment of some sort, like through paypal (which it didn't)

when admin clicks the pay button an email is sent to affiliate notifying them their commission has been payed. It's good that an email notification is being sent but the message says

Your total earnings this period were:$0.00

Although their actual affiliate earnings are reflected in their account info.

I had the same issue with the email error.

Try editing the includes/modules/pages/referrer_signup/header.php file line 56 from 'admin_level = 1' to 'admin_level = 0' or you can do what I did and create a second admin user called Affiliate Manager with a new email address (I used [email protected]) and left the code as is at 'Admin_Level = 1 '

The pay button is for a manual pay system, i.e you send them a check or PayPal, etc. and then click the button to change the status.

For me... when an email is sent to the affiliate all it says is

Your Solstice commission payment has been made.

    $EMAIL_MESSAGE_HTML
