If your site is hosted by Godaddy.com, in the File Manager, select the configure.php file you want to edit. The "Permissions" icon will become available. Unless you click on a file, it's an unavailable icon.
The "Permissions" tab has two selections: Web Visible, allows users to browse files and directories using the Web and: Executable, allows users to execute files as scripts. You want to select "Executable" here. Next, go to the "Advanced Permissions" tab and select "read", "write", and "execute" for Owner.
After updating file, it allowed me to save the information and I can now see my purchase/product info page. Set permissions back to read only for both files.

Thank for taking your time and posting back the solution on how to access the cpanel with GoDaddy to change the permissions of a .php file for you to edit...
