    Default How do I...

    Change the database password in the Condiguration.php file to match the new password changed on the database? I'm getting the following error message:

    Sorry!
    There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you.

    What do I look for?

    I tried changing it here:

    // define our database connection
    define('DB_TYPE', 'mysql');
    define('DB_PREFIX', '');
    define('DB_SERVER', 'p41mysql169.secureserver.net');
    define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'ZenCart');
    define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', '*$%#^&99!');
    define('DB_DATABASE', 'ZenCart);
    define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persistent connections?
    define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'db'); // use 'db' for best support, or '' for file-based storage

    But it's telling me that I'm unable to save that change on both. Am I doing it in the right place?

    Be,
    Before you edit the files you have to change the permission from 444 to 644

    1. Right mouse click over the folder name in the cpanel and it should let you set the permissions to 644
    2. When done editing, change back to 444

    Would the cpanel be the "Current" panel where I can "Create New Directory"?

    Be,
    www.yourwebsite.com/cpanel

    There will be a username and password for this procedure..

    Your hosting company should give you access to this panel..
    What program are you trying to use to edit the configure.php???

    Thank you. Please forgive me but I'm new to this. I'm not sure of the program that I'm using, Linux maybe? My site is hosted in godaddy.com and I have the username and password to get into the database if that's what you're referring to. Is cpanel the control panel?

    Your link isn't working.
