UK Shipping Costs for different Areas of the UK

My first Zen Cart Site so please be gentle with me.

I sell heavy items that go to various locations around the UK which the carriers charge according to weight and destination

Alderney & Guernsey
England
Isle of Man
Isle of Wight
Isle of Jersey
Northern Ireland
Republic of Ireland
Scotland-Highlands
Scotland-Western Ilses
Shetland & Orkney Isle
Wales

I need to be able to have the Zen Cart behave in the kind of way that this site her does when items are added to the Cart

So that:
if Zone = "England" & weight = <10KG then Shipping = £20
if Zone = "England" & weight = >10KG and <25KG then Shipping = £32

if Zone = "Northern Ireland" & weight = <10KG then Shipping = £30
if Zone = "Northern Ireland" & weight = >10KG and <25KG then Shipping = £42

Are you delivering to UK addresses only or outside (e.g Republic of Ireland) as well ? Are you using one carrier or a number of carrier options?

There are various solutions for the UK based on postcode, both free and commercial.

Thanks very much for the swift reply......I am just delivering to the UK at the moment. I will leave Republic of Ireland for now until I gain more experience.

Oh........I forgot to say, I am using more than 1 carrier

Contact zenforum member conor...re his advanced shipping mod which is not free but will save you hours of work for very reasonable price...

Iwould second the recommendation for Conor's software - and his excellent support. Cost is around the £50 mark but it gets the job done very quickly and works well. Package name is "Advanced Shipping Module"
