New Products Sidebox: Same Product Listed Twice

On a Zen 1.3.8a site: (I've changed the heading name from New Products to Current Designs) If you take a look at the sidebox of this page you'll see that under the heading Current Designs there are 3 products listed. Quite often the same product is listed twice, which I find to be unprofessional. How can I either restrict this from happening or decrease the number of products in that sidebox to two so as to decrease the likelihood that it will occur?

It appears to be some sort of bug created by having your site in 2 different languages. The only duplicate products I am seeing are the same product in both English and Italian, but they link to the same product id.

Someone that is more familiar with multi-language sites will have to help you.

Hmmm... Interesting. I wouldn't have thought it was dual-language related... You're right though, I am seeing Italian text on the English side but it links to the English version product page.

I'm still hoping for some help on this one. In the New Products sidebox, (I've changed the heading name from New Products to Current Designs) text from both languages are appearing and items are appearing twice, although the links only seem to go to the english side. This reverses itself when you are in the Italian site

I got the same problem on my website, but they display items in the same langage.
If anybody knows how can it be sorted ...

Check the Known Bug Fixes for v1.3.8 ...

You should add them all but it sounds like this one is #26 ...

I do believe that did the trick! I've applied the #26 fix and rotated through the site numerous times and am seeing only English Language on the English side and visa-vera on the Italian and no doubling up of the same product at the same time. The known bugs thread for 1.3.8a is quite the useful tool - Thanks for pointing it out to me and for your help!
