is there a way to move...

a mass amount of products to a different category. Right now I click the "m" to move that item from the category it lives in to a new home.....tis fine if just a few but I still have 5 more pages to do

I like the neat features on the C for copy and Multiple Ccategories Links Manager ...

At the bottom of the screen, there are some options to Link Products to to Categories and remove Products for categories etc.

Combined in the right manner, you can ...

Copy ALL Products in a Category as LINKED Products to another Category ...
Example: Using 8 and 22 would Link ALL Products in Category 8 to Category 22

Then, you could ...
Remove ALL Products in a Category that are LINKED Products to another Category ...
Example: Using 8 and 22 would Unlink ALL Products in Category 8 from Category 22

Then, you could ...
Reset ALL Products in the selected Category to use the selected Category as the new Master Categories ID ...
Example: Resetting Category 22 would set ALL Products in Category 22 to use Category 22 as the Master Category ID

Then in the Tools ... Store Manager ... you could run the Update Price Sorter ...

WARNING: backup your database BEFORE attempting this ... and it is recommended that you set the site down for maintenance then do the backup as it is guaranteed you will messy up everything at least once if not three times before you get the hang of this ...

Other than that ... it's a fun thing to do ...

Thanks sweety, I will try something when I catch up on sleep.

Too bad an easy little no nonsence mod can't be created...lol

My mom has alzheimers and her days are nights---when she sleeps--which means if she be awake me and my two daughters that care for her are also.

She do like to get up during the night "being our night is from 7 am til approximately 4-5 pm"...lol and since she puts everything and anything into her mouth she needs to be watched.
