If a choose canadian currency give me error 10401

When I defines in the Zen Cart paypal express option :Only canadian I will have an error 10401 Order total error.
If I take off the option Only canadian the order total in canadian will be converted in US amount in Paypal.

Transaction Currency
Which currency should the order be sent to PayPal as?
NOTE: if an unsupported currency is sent to PayPal, it will be auto-converted to USD (or GBP if using UK account)
Default: Selected Currency

Selected Currency

Only CAD

PLease help me?

If your store is only operating in CAD, then leaving it set to "Selected Currency" should work fine. Why are you showing multiple currencies but restricting PayPal to one specific currency?

In my store I have the choice of 2 currencies cdn and us. If I am doing a purchase with a canadian account it will convert the total order in US amount in Paypal (if I leave the option Selected currency no noting), Shoud I restricted Zen cart to only Canadian currency to solve my problem?

In PayPal, click on Manage Currencies, and make sure you have both CAD and USD enabled as active currencies.
Then go into your Profile settings, into Payment Receiving Preferences, and set your currency handling settings to only convert to USD if you don't have that currency enabled.

I have both currency in my paypal and I have canadian by default. I noticed this message when processing with paypal:

PayPal submits American Express transactions in USD, regardless of the currency of your transaction. If your payment or your card is not denominated in USD, we each apply currency conversion commission to the transaction. American Express will credit your American Express statement in an amount estimated to be at least equal to the fees applied to the transaction. We apologize for any inconvenience as we implement a new process to address this issue.

Oh. You didn't mention before that your problem was related to AmEx.

PayPal Canada doesn't accept AmEx in CAD presently. But, when the transaction is handled by PayPal, you should still see AmEx transactions appear on the PayPal side in whatever currency the customer was shopping in. PayPal just submits the transaction to Amex in USD after calculating the conversion.

But transactions not related to Amex should appear fine in whichever currency the customer chooses, if you have "Selected Currency" enabled.

I did not tough that it was related only for American Express card. I thing if you did not take some time to answer my question I would never found the problem,
