Product Description

Hi, I'm using ZenCart version 1.3.8a, added "lavender template" and added "column layout grid".

Is it possible to have the product description only displayed when going to the "previous/next listing" screen but not when displaying products under categories or sub-categories? Right now it seems like it's either displayed at all times or not at all.

Not sure I understand what you are not liking???

Do you mean you only want the description to show on the product info page, and not on listing pages?
You can set the product elements that are displayed in listings, and their order, in Configuration > Product Listing.

Hi Kobra, sorry I wasn't clearer.

My site is under http://fashionfoot.net. What I currently like is the layout of the products under http://fashionfoot.net/index.php?mai...ndex&cPath=1_8 (or when you go to the site/Foot-Thongs/black).

However, I'd like to have the product description under http://fashionfoot.net/index.php?mai...&products_id=7, the next page after a customer clicks on any of those products, where they are listed individually and you can go to previous or next listing.

Hope I made more sense this time. I appologize for my limited terminology - not good with computer lingo.

Have a peek at a copy of your tpl_product_info_display.php

You will need to re-order the items there and also after the main product image code replicate the clear both to force a new line

Save and upload to your template structure

I know I sound like a dork, but after going to the tpl_product_info_display.php file, I have no clue how to "re-order the items there and also after the main product image code replicate the clear both to force a new line". Can you let me know what the re-ordering needs to look like?

Changing the product description under Configuration > Product Listing doesn't help. If I do activate it, the description will be on all pages, which I don't want.

This page you reference is the "product info" page and not the listing page

Sections in the file begin with and then with

Code:

<!--bof something-->
CODE
<!--eof something-->

Complete sections can be moved to attain a different order
The clear both is in several places and adding is a copy & paste and in this case after a section where you want a new line to begin

In a default file(not re-ordered) right after the main image code is the product name - If one wanted this to be under the main image the following in red would be added
