Hi I found these two mods in the free software addons section;

Both of which fulfill my need for main cats and sub cats to always be displayed in the sidebox no matter what page you're on. However both of them display the products also as you can see on my site; http://www.thegreatgiftshop.co.uk/zencart/

and I don't want this as they look like categories. On the download page of the first app (first link I pasted in), the author says
'P.S.: I will be uploading another sidebox which includes only categories and subcategories in expanded form (no products) for user convenience.'

However, I see no sign of this sidebox without the products and have even tried contacting them at the e-mail address they providied but with no joy so far.

Does anyone know if an app for my need exists? Or how to change one of the above?

Any info will be much appreciated, I've been trying to solve this for the last week.
