HELP Attribute varied pricing for size and color

Hello,

Been checking out posts and FAQ but have not found what I'm looking for yet. There is lots of talk which ends up going nowhere.
If anyone can point me in right direction it would be appreciated.

I'm creating an online shoe shop.

On product info page I have a drop down menu box for sizing.
I also have option value selectors for color selection.


Our shoe prices vary with sizes. I would like it that if someone selects a particular shoe size ... that the price edits to that particular size based price.


The option color values also have different price values dependent on chosen color. I would like price values to update pricing total when selected.

Example:

SHOE MODEL, DROPDOWN size, RADIO Option color, COST Total dependent on selections.

shoe A, size 36, color red, cost: $180
shoe A, size 40, color red, cost: $192
shoe A, size 36, color blue, cost: $175


Inside each attribute I see these values but unsure to the exact meanings. Can I edit these values to obtain my result? Or is there a better method or MOD I can use?


Prices and Weights
Price
Weight ( I guess this is weight QTY and is not Req for me.)
Order ?
One Time: ? Whats this mean? Literally one purchase?


Price Factor: ?
Offset: ?
One Time Factor: ? Whats this mean? Literally one purchase?
Offset: ??

Is there a better way to acheive my goal? Open to anything.

Attributes can have your incremental price for it
i.e.

Base price = 120
size:
1 +0
2 +0
3 +10
4 +15

Color:
Blk +0
white +0
red +20
tan +10
brn +15

So as one selects the options a product is created and once added to the cart the proper cost is displayed

Where exactly are you referring to adding these values +10 (This mean plus $10.00 ?)

I checked out the link that you provided but it doesn't go into the detail we are discussing.

It also supplies no definitions for:

There are other pricing options also available besides the standard prices.

* One Time Charge
* Price Factor
* One Time Charge Price Factor
* Attirbute Qty Price
* One Time Attribute Qty Price
* For TEXT
* Price per word and free words
* Price per letter and free letters


I have added attributes and put some values in the above fields which does work. However, for any price variations which field should I use? Price factor?

Or are you describing another method?

please provide instruction on what steps you would take to add for example 2 sizes with different prices?

There are other pricing options also available besides the standard prices.

From what you have explained you do not require any of the other special case stuff

Thanks for getting back to me.

I figured out generally how it works.

A couple things I wanted to achieve was dynamic updating which I used the mod 'Dynamic Price Updater' Generally works.. and works where it needs to most importantly the price.

I also wanted to know definitions for attribute values as there is no explanation of what each is, what they do, how they work at all.

Price Factor is what I needed to use in the end but obviously when selling products you want to know what effect changes to pricing will make before you implement it to the public.
