Looks fine to me. Could you explain what you mean by "seamless" and tell us which browser you're viewing in?

Not all versions of IE are created equal. I suspect that they offending representation was viewed in IE6 which does not support transparency for PNG files, so it fills in a color as best it can (which is not very well).

yes,you are right, the stranger one is viewed in IE6, and the background of image is transparent
You may want to peek at the header using FireFox - the menu bar is a bit skewed.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Looking at your page source you have incorrect html
You have :: between each list item which is causing problems for firefox....Code:<li> <span> <a href="http://www.ecomputer.com.au/index.php?main_page=specials">Specials</a> </span> </li> ::

In firefox - go to View menu and choose Page Source.. Look through the source and you will see the generated HTML and find the List that is used for your menu... Then you will see the ::
As you are not using a standard zencart template, I cannot tell you which template file to look at. You could try looking here;
\includes\templates\Your Custom Folder\common\tpl_header.php
